Mit \u00fcber 190 Veranstaltungsorten im Zentrum der Stadt (B1-B48). Diese Veranstaltungsorte k\u00f6nnten, wenn sie an einem einzigen Abend voll besetzt w\u00e4ren, etwa 98.000 Besucher aufnehmen. Diese Zahl entspricht etwa 10 % der Stadtbev\u00f6lkerung und umfasst Veranstaltungsorte, die von kleineren, intimen Einrichtungen wie der Sunflower Lounge im Stadtzentrum bis hin zu gr\u00f6\u00dferen Veranstaltungsorten wie Resort World am Stadtrand reichen. Ab 2023 wird die Gesamtkapazit\u00e4t der Stadt f\u00fcr Konzertbesucher an einem einzigen Abend auf \u00fcber<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n  <strong> 104,000<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span>. Die meisten Live-Musiklokale in Birmingham sind Bars oder Kneipen, in denen Musikveranstaltungen stattfinden; sie machen etwa 39 % aller Lokale aus. Dar\u00fcber hinaus gibt es in der Stadt eine gro\u00dfe Anzahl von Sozial- und Studentenclubs, Theatern und kleinen, ausschlie\u00dflich der Musik gewidmeten Veranstaltungsorten, von denen die meisten eine Kapazit\u00e4t von bis zu 400 Personen haben. Im Vergleich zu anderen St\u00e4dten wie Liverpool, Oxford, Glasgow und Newcastle weist die Live-Musikszene in Birmingham \u00e4hnliche Merkmale auf.<\/p>\n<p>Wie in Liverpool sind fast die H\u00e4lfte der Veranstaltungsorte in Birmingham Bars und Pubs. Birmingham zeichnet sich jedoch durch einen relativ hohen Anteil an &#8222;unorthodoxen&#8220; Veranstaltungsorten aus. Dazu geh\u00f6ren Universit\u00e4tsgeb\u00e4ude, Restaurants, soziale Clubs und Au\u00dfenbereiche, die traditionell nicht mit Live-Musik in Verbindung gebracht werden. So finden in der Stadt zahlreiche Veranstaltungen im Freien statt, z. B. im Moseley Park, in den Birmingham Botanical Gardens und beim Vale Fest.
