If you run a venue or if you are a promoter who puts on gigs in the city region (Liverpool, Wirral, St Helens, Sefton, Halton and Knowsley), the Liverpool City Region Music Board would like to invite you to this event.
The Board would like to meet with you and hear your thoughts and opinions, while also giving you an opportunity to learn about and contribute to the development of a post-pandemic action plan that focuses on ‘safeguarding and protecting local music venues’.
One of the events’ objectives include mapping the region’s music venue infrastructure (led by Liverpool University), identifying priorities for the sector, opportunities for future planning and guiding future policy-making.
Date: Tuesday 22nd March 2022
Time: 6-8pm (networking/drinks until 9pm)
Location: Music Room @ Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, L1 9BP
Event Registration: https://keeping_lcr_music_venues_on_the_map.eventbrite.com
We understand how busy you all are, so we have picked a day and a time that will hopefully allow as many people as possible to attend and have their say. And for those of you who can stay on a bit longer there is a chance to have a drink, catch up with old friends and hopefully make some new useful contacts as well.
We invite you to share your insight and concerns for the sector, which will enable the Board to understand and support wherever possible, and continue to lobby around important you are facing, in order to protect live music locally.
